One band, many languages
International line-ups, artist pools across borders, crews that don't share a first language: in Bandleader every musician reads the app and their requests in the language they choose.
Why language matters for bookings
A gig request is a small contract: date, times, place, fee, dress code. If the musician has to read it in a second or third language, details get missed and questions come back by phone. Teams that work across countries — cruise and hotel entertainment, touring productions, agencies with artists from many countries, bands in border regions — run into this every week.
More than 20 languages
The Bandleader interface is available in more than 20 languages, including most European languages as well as Mandarin Chinese and Hindi:
- English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Dutch
- Danish, Norwegian, Swedish
- Polish, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Croatian, Hungarian, Romanian
- Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian
- Greek, Turkish, Russian
- Mandarin Chinese, Hindi
Each musician gets requests in their own language
Every user chooses their language in the app. That choice is saved with their profile and used for the emails Bandleader sends them: gig requests, reminders, confirmations and changes. The band leader can work in English while the drummer reads requests in Polish and the singer in Portuguese — from the same gig, without anyone translating.
Musicians who don't have a login yet receive emails in the band's language. As soon as they accept an invitation and pick their language, everything switches to it.
Built for international artist pools
Because the language belongs to the musician and not to the band, one pool can mix players from different countries. AutoBook asks them in your priority order exactly as it would in a single-language band — the only difference is the language each person sees.
Times in the right time zone
Gig times in emails are shown in the band's time zone, so a request sent from Berlin to a musician in Lisbon still shows the local start time of the gig.
